My Brugmansia are looking good. They are actually about 2 weeks ahead of schedule in comparing photo's from last year. I'll probably cut back the weeds and grass at the end of the month. I leave them there until all danger of frost has passed.

So they are all coming back from the roots? A great start. What zone are you in X?
Hi Kell,
I'm 8a/b .. right there on the dotted line lol. I've seen it get into the low low 20's, even teens once here. We have sandy/clayey soil here which I think doesn't freeze as fast as other soils and holds moisture well. I was utterly amazed to see a brug I rooted from a cutting then planted in the ground in late August in hopes of getting more cuttings, come back! I never dreamed it would have enough time to develop a good enough root system in that short of time, but it did. It's the one in the lower right hand side of the picture, an Equador Pink.

You are sure doing something right!
EP is supposed to hate it cold too. I left my EP out too and it did fine too, but mine was a huge one, not a baby like yours.
