I came home today from town and what did i find but my cat Windy with 4 brand new kittens in my front flower bed!!!!!! i was so worried about them being in the open and the other 2 cats very curious i brought them into the laundry room. i hope they will be okay. my laundry room is very large and very long and closed off by a door. she is in the very back corner behind some christmas decoration boxes. hopefully here she won't think we will bother her much as the kids stay out of the laundry room. they are just beautiful!!! she is a tortoishell and daddy is ginger like Garfield so we have 1 solid white, 1 solid peachy color, 1 light colored tortoishell and 1 dark colored tortoishell.

Maybe when your husband comes home for the weekend you can take some pictures :)) Or buy a throw away. This is what I use to do. Then I had it developed onto a CD .

she is a very young cat and has had one previous litter back in october that was a litter of 5 which all died :( this litter she had seemed better with and they are much healthier looking :) this kids are tickled but can't see them as they are well hid. i don't think they normally have them in open areas. i am not sure why she did this. maybe so i could find her she is a very sweet cat. the last litter she came in as i was leaving that morning and i put her in the bathroom as i could tell she was in labor and she had them in the litter box!!! i am glad she at least had these outside instead of the litter box. i hear so many women say they feel pressure like they have to go to the bathroom before the baby arrives well i guess Windy thought she had to go to the potty instead of give birth last go round lol.

update: kitties are a week old today and i picked up 2 of the 4 today and they had their eyes open! they are doing good! i hope these continue to do well. i have fallen in love with the little calico! i haven't let the kids touch them yet and i have only touched them 2 times with disposable gloves on. i am scared to handle them yet.

Glad they are doing well :-) Little kittens are so adorable - that's how we ended up with several very large cats! Down to two now, who pretty much run the household. LOL

Me too - I had wanted two kittens and wound up with three!! They have since passed on, but were wonderful company.
I have 3 grown kitties right now. I rescued one from the pound when she was 9 weeks old and she is now over a year old. she has been spayed and her name is Breezy. I got Windy the mom of kittens from the store last summer. she was in the parking lot and i was afraid she would get run over. Marmalade is the daddy of the kittens and he just wandered up a few months ago. all of them are outside cats. Breezy was an inside cat but when we spayed her she pouted and ran out the door and up a tree and wouldn't come down as soon as we brought her home. she stayed mad at us for months and insisted on being outside. now she wants to come back in but she stays out because of my allergies.
