My Daves order

Vero Beach, FL(Zone 9b)

Ok guys..I need to share my experience with Dave's Violets
He is AWESOME! He called for my CC info because he did not want me sending through email.
We ended up talking for over an hour :) He is just SOOOOO nice :)
I got my plants today and he enclosed two free plants!

So I highly recommend ordering from his site. His prices are just fabulous too!

Vero Beach, FL(Zone 9b)

Oh yes April :) I ADORE the orange ones :) then again orange is my favorite color :)

Missouri City, TX(Zone 9a)

It is fast becoming mine, I have bought so many orange blooming outside plants this year! Think I will have to get Charm! It's just too lovely to pass up.

Vero Beach, FL(Zone 9b)

There are two or three really cool orange ones (another is awesome orange)
I am also going to buy more as I love them for terrariums and the micros fit into little tiny containers that can fit anywhere :)

Missouri City, TX(Zone 9a)

I have yet to start my for real terrariums, I am a little afraid of the minis- should I not be afraid?

Lilburn, GA

Lorry, do you need a terrarium to grow those cuties in the picutres?

Northern California, CA(Zone 9a)

April, have you grown Tithonia? Nice orange. It's one I grow and I'm not even partial to orange.

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

Orange is so nice and something we don't see in AV;s

Vero Beach, FL(Zone 9b)

I dont' thinkt hey HAVE to be in at terrarium spidey though they do LOVE the environment in a terrarium :)

The micro and minis can fit into just about anything glass :) they make for great mini terrarium plants :)

Missouri City, TX(Zone 9a)

No I don't have Tithonia, but sounds like I should! Do you have a picture you want to share?

Vero Beach, FL(Zone 9b)

Well I am partial to orange..So please explain what this plant is Laurie :) Enquiry minds wanna know!

Missouri City, TX(Zone 9a)

Yes don't spare any details!

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

Oh duh I had a big Mexican Sunflower tree :))

Northern California, CA(Zone 9a)

Ali, I don't think they are the same, the tithonia is an annual here, but I think they have the same common name as the one budgie sent me and the one you found at the orange juice place. This one I just put the seeds out and then they freeze in the winter.

These don't get as big at your tree kind. Only about 3-4' high. Butterfiles love them and they are really orange too.
been a few years since I put out seeds, I'll have to again this year

Dallas, TX(Zone 8a)

Those are really beautiful. I'm sort of partial to orange and yellow myself. However, I do really love the peach color flowers too.
