Schizanthus hookerii

A very rare form of white Schizanthus hookerii I found this year (only 2 small plants among hundreds of pink Schizanthus hookerii)

How precious!

Thanks, .... I agree.

Since I found only two plants with white flowers, I did not collect any seeds. Let's nature have the control over them and hopefully produce many white Schizanthus hookerii next season.

Didn't you collect the plants to avoid cross-pollination and try to produce pure white seeds?

No, I don't take plants from the wild, unless it is a 'rescue action' (plants torn out either by animals or people, washed away by the rain or melting snow, etc.). Maybe, if next season I find many white Schizanthus I might bring home two or three plants.

You are nice, not all the people are taking care of their impact on nature and on our childre inheritance.
