First rock garden flowers

St. John's, NL(Zone 5b)

At long last I have a flower open in my rockery. Here are my Crocus etruscus. I stuck this piece of pumice smack down in the middle of the clump without realizing the crocus were there. Didn't seem to stop the crocus which are now popping up on either side of the stone.

The semps are growing out of a hole in the pumice. An encrusted saxifrage is to the right.

Those are so sweet, Todd, and they're the perfect colors for Easter.

A nice effect, albeit unintentional! That tricolor is gorgeous.
