Can I show you all the geranium I got? Take a look at the neat planter also. I love both of them.
It is called a chamelot.

WOW Makshi! How much tea do you drink???:O)))

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

Coffee not tea. I love my coffee. You know what happened? I cracked my cup I like to drink coffee out of and can't find another one that I feel good with. I like a large mug with fat handle and a thick lip around the cup. I don't like my coffee out of a flimsy cup. Is this more than you wanted to know?

I was just checking the size of your cup in the picture!!!

Charming!

I take it that it is an annual. It looks different from the traditional red ones. Very nice. I saw a huge cup at the local Goodwill but it did not have the saucer so I past it up. Linda

R, that is a perennial. It is another type of geranium called angel pelargonium. You can take cuttings from it and also keep the whole plant living for years if you keep it in a warm, frost free place. It can grow to a big plant and it flowers a lot. There are many angels with different flower colors. There are some that are miniatures.

It can become quite woody so it is good to give it a hir cut in spring so it will branch out with lots of new growth.

It is a new Geranium that is new I believe this year. It goes outside and I will put it on the porch. I just love the cup and saucer planter. It is I believe a 8" size.

It's beautiful. I love to find a special pot or cup that goes well with a plant. Makes it even prettier. I would not have guessed that was a geranium.

I just purchased several pelargor...yes, what you said Spidie- because I love geraniums and of course these are ever so much more diverse. I lost one to my incurable overwatering disease, of the 4 remaining 3 are blooming! They are lovely. Where on earth did you find the lovely pot/cup? That is sooo cute!!! What a wonderful gift it would make for my daughter and mother! Very beautiful Makshi!

and another; I bought them from from a grower in CA, I believe, the plants were very reasonable, the shipping was ...well lets just say that I almost had to take out a second mortgage!

You both have pretty different plants. Love them !

April,

The pot came from Wally World. It was a little costly for me but just had to have it. Most of my pots come from yard sales or mark downs.

Missouri City, TX(Zone 9a)

It is really pretty. Most of mine are plain terra cotta, they are cheap enough that if my grandson or one of the kids knocks it over and breaks it I can honestly say, "That's ok!"
I did notice something along that line at Kinsman, but not as cute!
