'We have a 2yr old unfixed male black lab named Shady. We are thinking of giving him away for a couple of reasons. One is he barks and barks and barks. All day long. We have tried EVERYTHING to make him stop. Toys, walks, training, collors, playing with him. I have tried it all. Even everything The Dog Whisper says to do. Our neighbors complan and the animal control has been called twice on us. He sleeps in the house so he does not bark at night. The second reason is I lost my job and cant afford to get him fixed or keep his shots up to date. I am terrified that if I give him away he will be abused. I heard to sell, not give pets away to make sure the new owner is serious. I just dont know what to do. I cant stand the thought of someone not being good to him. Any advice would be so helpful.
