Banana - Zone 5 hardy - musa basjoo???

Hummingbird Trumpet - Not the vine but the plant
Hyssop - Root Beer
Ixora Odorata

Magnolia Vine
Musk Rose
Nutmeg
Orange Indian Paint Brush
Passiflora - Incense and Violacea, an edible type
Peppercorn
Peruvian Lily Daffodil

Plants Handed Down with a Story - I would like something that is old and has a story along with it...perhaps was handed down. After buying my older home and having 1 tree and alot of weeds, I started planting. I realized this summer that something was missing...which were plants that others cherish and got from others awhile back. My goal is to build sectional markers with the name of the person I got it from, who they got it from and any memories they have. I laugh to myself in thinking this will be some sort of outdoor museum to the memory of others and not just a garden! I think I am too sentimental sometimes.

Salvia - Brenthurst (S Coccinea), Gentian Sage (S. patens)
Scarlet Fire Thorn
Schizopetalon - Milky WayScented Geranium - Strawberry (the really fragrant kind) rooted
Soloman's Seal
Sarcococca - Confusa and Humilis
Sea Berry (male and female)
Sugar Cane (possible?)
Summersweet
Sweet Almond
Sweet Cicely

TROPICAL - any frequent flowering tropicals I do not know about...would require being indoors in winter. HAVE Brunsfelsia Americana. Got lots of citrus, hibiscus and jasmine already.

Viburnum - Korean Spice and Tea Viburnum
Winterberry
Wintergreen
Winter Honeysuckle
Wintersweet
Witch Hazel (fragrant)

Tucker,
Do you want Sugar cane as in the kind to make sugar with? If so I have a whole field full of it behind my house. I could send you some for Lavender (1) This one is a pale lavender and very fragrant - from J&P - the name label must be in the dirt somewhere!

Middle of, VA(Zone 7a)

Tucker,
Did you get my dmail yesterday?

Fate, TX(Zone 8a)

i have some variegated bamboo and would love to have your loquat. and if you don't want the bamboo i have a variegated dwarf ornamental banana.(gets to be about 4 ft. tall). the story on this banana is this. if froze to the ground but is returning. i see several pups coming up. the variegation is not completely there now. i see some difference in color but nothing like it was when i planted it. so i don't know if it will return the same color or not. last year it was a very dark chocolately purple and green. also i have never dug a banana pup so there is that to consider. hahahaha lmk. thanks. barb and i think i got my snail vines and corkscrew vines from you. they are doing great. thanks again.
