Neal, Don't you dare tell me you have this plant? I am cracking up! I left mine when I moved because it wasn't up yet. It is killing me that I don't have it anymore.

(Zone 7a)

Neal, If you have the Ceratostigma..would you be interested in "Hot Lips"??http://davesgarden.com/pf/showimage/87303/
It could definitely use some dividing and it's coming up..LMK
You'll have to put it in the shade garden if interested. It gets mad in the sun.

Winchester, KY(Zone 6a)

Yup! It has'nt emerged yet, so I think it's just still sleeping.

jackieshar, sounds like you have plenty of extra, so you gals go ahead (Kim's got ton's of fun plants!). I think I will judging from how well it spread last summer, but this plant is new to me, so we'll see when it shows up.

Guilford, CT(Zone 7a)

I poked a cutting from my Plumbago into the soil, & it rooted quite easily. This was in the Summer, when the plant was outdoors. Propagation might not be as successful with indoor light conditions. The soil was kept fairly damp. If you don't get a hold of some, I will do a rooting for you in another month, when my plants get back outdoors.

Kim,

My father has this plant and I trimmed it way back this winter. It doesn't die back out here in Calif.
I am going up to his house tomorrow and can take some cuttings if you want to try to propagate it. I'll also see if there are any rooted off shoots at the bottom.

Just say yes and I'll check it out for you, ok?

Gemini - the rooted pieces dies when I brought the plant indoors ito the cellar for the Winter. As soon as it comes back outdoors, I will gladly root some cuttings for others. My plant is Imperial Blue from Logee's Greenhouses...
I have never tried dividing the plant. I suspect SoCal will root her cuttings easily.

Pinellas Park, FL(Zone 9b)

Geez Kim
That stuff is like weeds down here. It's everywhere. I rescued a bunch from lowes dead rack for like .25 ea and nurse them back and gave them to my sister for lack of room here.
Jan...

Jan, Get me some of that stuff! LOL
Donna, Thanks so much for the offer. I would like rooted pieces. But I'll pass on cuttings. I'm already trying to root too much already...LOL
