Since Allison asked me to, I'm posting just a couple of pictures. This one is my happiest pink noid. It lives in a self-watering pot from NorCal pottery. Now I'm on the hunt to find more of these, because it has really made a difference.
Here ya go, Allison....

Thanks Allison... Molly is a noid in the most perfect sense of the word! She's some kind of sheperd mixed with something else and probably something else~ we got her from the local shelter. She's a good girl.
The Nor Cal is just a brand from around here. This variety of it is a pot within a pot ~ the outside pot holds water and then hold the inside pot, giving just the right amound of moisture, in my opinion! Yes, she's my happiest!
Y'all have a great weekend, what's left of it!
Sanna
Love the gray-brown and black noid!
Your flowers are beautiful. Love the blues.
Love the violets and Molly is just too cute!
Oh yes, Molly is so pretty. She really looks so "Is it time to take my walk now? do you have a treat for me? can I sleep in your bed tonight?" And how could you say no?
Molly is beautiful. And April understands what all the dogs are saying :)) Your plants are all nice too :))
San,
I have some in the self watering pots. I really like them but find it very expensive to get together enough for all of the AVs. I or my son picks them up when he sees one for a $1.00 or $2.00. I want to find some more. Do you add a couple of drop of fertilizer to the water? I do.
Yes I do add fertilizer ~ VF-11 and water. And I only have about 8-10 plants right now, and only about 3 or 4 big enough to put in the bigger pots. But yeah, I know about the expense part. But mine sure likes it! Maybe I'll save them for the most special plants, if I can figure out which ones those are! :o)
