Chris...

That is just wonderful....My hubby walked passed when i was looking at the pics and said....OH BOY, I know what your gonna be doing in the coming days...hehehhe, boy does he know me well... I have a 10 tank, but i think a 20 gallon long one would be nice...will be on the lookout for one...

What are the layers of dirt, rocks you used...starting from the bottom up...Will pick up a little at a time so when i do find a tank i can just right into it..

Yup :) I asked for the terrarium forum a week or so ago :) I got an dmail when they opened it..I just had not been around much to peruse is...I put these photos there too :) I can't wait to get involved with that forum :) I have so much to learn!

Char..I bought my 20 gallon long brand new at the pet store for 30.00...so they are not too expensive :) I like the long because it fit on the bakers rack :) and it is longer then a typical 20 gallon tank :)

nan :) I did it a little at a time and it is actually still not quite finished...But It is my fun time experiment :) I am just happy they are all still alive!

I like the lizards too LOL and I am thinking about setting up a small section for carnivorous plants in the terrarium. I have seen a bug or two go in there *growl*

Right now, I am putting together 2 new shelves I bought at Lowes :) I need some space for the new plants I brought home yesterday.

I am also replanting a poor little philodendron that I SAVED from lowes :) It is GORGEOUS..Looks like a pthos but it is bronze color...they dried it out so it is half dead but I think I can save it :)

Please keep posting pictures. I want to see how it progresses. When I worked as a Secretary for a small Christian school I helped set up a terrarium for some lizards called anoles. I loved how they changed colors. It had driftwood and one of those heated rocks to keep it warm.Linda

I have a lizard :)) He comes out and watches me pot. And I say Hi little Lizzy ! Are you thristy . And he says yes ! So I pour fresh water for him ! He does not even care if it hits his head. He drinks away. Then he likes to keep watching me. I tell him ha can stay as long as he eats bugs. :))
