i just looked at the last one and being a newbie it will help me out lots! i like the question on pot size and how to replant. those will come in handy when its time to pot up babies! mine has some growing to do yet but at least i will know how when the time comes. just the idea of damaging one of my babies scares me to death lol.

Thanks for the links, Allison. I'm taking a break from repotting, and I've repotted 4 or 5 AVs into a smaller pot than they were before. I think they'll do much better now.
That's a good idea Amy. When I joined local group I quickly learned all my plants needed smaller pots.

Well, I was still in the "regular houseplant" frame of mind, I guess. When my foliage plants need repotting, they usually need to go up a pot size, so I guess I was thinking the AVs did, too. There's so much to learn about AVs, and so much I've still got to learn. What I have learned, though, comes so easily to me now. Like putting down leaves - I was a nervous wreck the first time I put them down, but I think I could do it in my sleep now! :o)

I took a bunch of babies from the Mom leaves today and potted them in fresh mix and gave them a drink of VF-11. I sure hope they do well. I had a ball! Some of the mom leaves are still putting out little babies so I repotted them. Cross your fingers for more babies!
Congratulations ! I'm sure they will do great !
