Hello all,
I started to grow my own seeds this year and am having excellent success.Joined this site so I can learn a little more about growing flowers. Bought some grow lights and now have 8 flats coming up of a nice variety of flowers.First time doing it and am very pleased.No more going to the nuseries and spending major bucks each year.Here is a pic of my front yard from last year.Hope to do even better this year. My wife is really not into gardening but does enjoy the colors when in bloom

Your flowers looked great last year. Hopefully we will get more rain this year. My flowers didn't do so well. I kept the watering down to a minimum with my veggies and lawn. There was a home in Oak Lawn that looked absolutely spetacular last year. They said they had spent a small fortune on water.
