Oh wow you have Ultra Violet Sunbeam too ! Love it ! Do you know the white ones name ?
The white one is called, interestingly, African Violet. HA HA. I guess he's a NOID, then. It has a little purple, very soft lavendar. Really pretty, for $1.99. It was grown in North Carolina. Not an Optimara. Got it at Ingel's grocery store in Tennessee.
I paid $9. 99 for the Space Baby. It is pretty big. I bought another one that was even bigger and gave it to a relative. I took home two small plants in my carry on HUGE purse in leftover styrofoam drink cups with lids. I put the four bigger plants in a box as a carry on and put it under the seat. They did pretty good. Lost a leaf or two per plant, but still are going strong. Tennessee does have pretty flowers. The dogwoods were out in Nashville and there were bright orange pansies everywhere.
It was a good trip. We took my father's ashes and scattered them over a waterfall. He would have been happy with that. But, good to be home. My poor little doggy had oral surgery today. She has really clean teeth now, but they removed the front two bottom teeth. And she is walking around like she's had a six-pack of beer. : ( Your dog's pictures just make my day. When I try to put anything like that on Sweetie, she looks at me like I am punishing her. : ) She hates it. She prefers sleeping over modeling. : )
Pam your plants are beautiful ! Your so luckt to find them so healthy and beautiful they don't look like they minded the trip at all.

Precious love to sleep too. She just sleeps with her clothes on. She has fallen asleep with her hat on before. All you have to say is let

Thanks, Lorry. Allison, a friend came by and watered once whiile I was gone. That was all I did. Everything was fine, a few leaves and blooms were wilted, but other than that, it was all good. : ) I do have a lot of my plants wicked, so I think that helps. Have a good day!!!! Pam
Once I carried some green beans on board the plane to Ohio. They kept scanning it and finally asked me what they were.
It looks like I'll be heading for Ohio next month. I will be in a car then and I should have some nice things from Kraynack's (popular garden center In Sharon PA). Mom laughs at how I carry things back with me. One time while traveling in the car I carried several plants between my feet for 600 miles so they would not topple over.

Linda, my stepmom is in Sweetwater, TN. : ) I found some plates once at at Pfaltzgraff outlet and put seven plates and a platter in a suitcase between my clothes. Made it all the way home by plane without breaking. : )
