Planting by moon signs

Hi,

Does anyone plant seeds by this method and if so do you have any info on it.

Thanks,

The only rule of thumb is,moon rising things out of the ground ,that develope,(corn, tomato, cuc's,etc),shuld be planted. The things that develope under ground ,(Peanuts, potatoes) should be planted when the moon is wayning.

Hi Mqiq77,

How do you know which is which and when? Thanks for replying.

I think I've seen generalized info in the yearly Farmers Almanac. If you google astrological gardening I'm sure other stuff will come up. It would be interesting if it worked. My hair person tells me I should get haircuts on the full moon so my hair will grow faster. Who knows? :)

Hi dmac085,

Thank you for the info and the link. I don't want my hair to grow faster...LOL!!

I know this for a fact.If you trim your hedge(privet),after the full moon, when its wayning,it will not grow back as fast,as when you trim it when the moon is on the rise.Try it those of you who shear a hedge.
