Help, I'm sooooo excited you'd think I just gave birth. My hands are shaking so bad that I can hardly type. (no kidding). Now, where do I go from here? I'm going to plant them in small pots...... Maybe 5' pots. But do I fertalize them? Put them under a grow light? Put them in an east window? Bottle feed or breast?
Thanks, Jackie
OH MY GOSH! got babies and need help
I caught you on the other thread. LOL. I say bottle. It is easier. So what did you get? Cuttings or rooted plants?
Hi Jackie,
Congrats on your new brug babies. To answer some of your questions, whether or not they are cuttings or seedlings, go with a small pot at first. If you have 4 inch pots go with that, if 5 inch is all you have that will be ok too. When you pot them up, use a well draining mix and don't keep them too wet.
I personally would not fertilize them at this time, let them get accustomed to their new environment for about two - three weeks. Then I would give them a little drink of 1/2 strength fertilizer.
Also, I would put them under the grow lights. I hope you have real good luck with them.
Congratulations, Jackie!
LOL Jackie, Congrats on your babys!! It is so much fun...And I too would go with the bottle as Kell said lots easier....Lauri
Great idea, Crystal. I will bring ................. VF-11 which is so gentle for such special babies.
Hi jackie,
got your email, sent you one back.
I would definitely bottle feed those babies LOL
Most of the time I fertilize my brugs with a little miracle grow water when I transplant them, but not always. I do give them a drink of water when I move them into their new homes.
put them in a gallon pot. As they are past the stage of anything smaller.
The wilt will go away as well in a couple weeks.
Bet you didn't know I was on Daves LOL
