Is anyone having trouble with squash bugs on their rose bushes? I usually have these pest every year in my veggie garden to deal with but now they have already started in my rose garden. I have been knocking them off one by one in a bowl of clorox water but this is getting very tiring with 20 rose bushes. They hit the blooms early in the morning and in the afternoon. I spray with the rose spray the one for insecticide and fungicide and then today I sprayed sevin concentrate and went back out their about an hour later and found some more bugs on there again. I hate to even see what my veggie garden is going to be like this year . Can someone please advise as to what to use. All help appreciated. I live in spring, tx

Have you tried strong fish emulsion or garlic spray or anything like that? It's safe for pets and people and taste nasty to bugs. The fish emulsion is also a good foliar fertilizer.
