We at heavy broken hearts.

New Iberia, LA(Zone 9a)

AS I am writing this.. I couldn't stop crying.. Our beloved Teddy (4 years old) went across rainbow bridge this early morning to join with Penny (his Mom), Amy, Jazzie. My DS (9 yrs old) found him at back patio while he was going to feed his rabbit. He stood and cried, cried. I saw him and I went out and saw Teddy. I hugged DS so tight and explained to him. It's okay and we all know he was getting better slowly but he didn't make it. DS said Rusty have been sitting next to him. Oh my heartache for Rusty. He lost his best friend. He's in the garage right now.

He seemed had labored breathe yesterday as he was around with us. It looked like it got worse. We left him fresh plenty waters. DH or kids could't hear any funny breathe from him. He went digging for those crawfishes in back.. I kept telling DH like I did yesterday that Teddy seems not look right cause he was breathe faster and labored. He did ate well. It was beautiful day yesterday he spent lots with me and the kids.

I gotta to go and find me some help to bury him. I couldn't do all by myself. DH had to go work. I am all alone with my baby Matt.

Rusty with Teddy . It was taken few days ago. That's the last photo I had of him. He was beautiful dog. We all had memories of him.. He was very good protective dog, walked with kids and waited with them for bus daily, chase after UPS trucks, always drool while we eat something. It was funny to watch him drooling. When he was young pup, He likes to chase after Red Devil (our beloved rooster), He would go over neighbor if they call him for help or need to protect.
