There is no real scent, but the big black fuzzy bumble bees adore it. They are all over the blossoms, clumsily crashing into it for about a month straight! We secured several of the lower branches with rocks, & they rooted easily. When I cut them off the main shrub, I lost 3 out of the five new shrubs. I guess I did not give them enough time. I ended up with 3 new shrubs, & they grow slowly.
