We inherited a very friendly, and quite attractive cat with our house (the former owners were going to take it to the pound). Our problem, however, is that we have a 10-month old daughter that we would like to be able to play outside on a blanket without the cat rubbing up against her. We really like the cat and enjoy its friendliness, but does anyone have any suggestions about keeping a cat away from a baby? We've tossed around the idea of putting it in a portable kennel while she is outside...but I'm sure the cat won't enjoy that much.
