Burg problem

My burgs rooted wonderfully now 2 have rotted from inside the stem and the bark has come off the stem any idea what I did wrong? Out of 5 -3 are dieing.

Don't know for sure, but the most common cause is root rot from cold wet feet. They're most vulnerable when they've just rooted. Next time only lightly water. Have lost a couple young ones that way.

I agree. Have to watch, don't overwater when they are not into spring summer weather.

Lavina how big a pot do you have them in?
If the pot is too big the roots may not be able to take up all the water which causes them to rot.
I agree with Mary and Hibiscus. It sounds like root rot.
