I've posted the foliage before, but not the flowers. Here's the first one that's opened since I got the plant.
Smithiantha Texas Freckles
Oh man...I'm in love:) Beautiful!
WOW beautiful ! I've never seen a plant this stuning !
Morning keyring!
Is that a S. Pusilla I see? So cute!
Joanne
thanks for the comments.
It's a relatively new hybrid by Dale Martens (the "repot seedlings every 2 weeks" hybridizing guru) and I think it's now available at 1 or 2 commercial vendors. I have started propagating but they are already spoken for....
The micro in that photo is actually Sinningia sp. Rio das Pedras. Has slightly different leaf markings and lacks the spur on the flower, and will get a teeny bit bigger than pusilla.
Is it me, or does the flower look Kohleria-ish?
Sorry, meant to add ALL of the plants are beauties!! Love the itty bitty little fella on the left.
Hi Keyring...
Oh that Sinningia is so very cute! I love small itty bitty!
Joanne

Oh wow those most definitely would work Allison :) I may need to go and pick those up!
LL has a lot of miniature Sinningia plants and minis good for terraniums :))
I am going to buy through him. I won't buy from karutz again but want to try Lyndon lyons :)
Well it's my first time with them. I ordered one AV " Alison's Laughing " I think it is. lol and 4 Chimeras, few Chiritas, couple Epsicas , and one Petrocosmea parryorum. I saw a picture of it in my Gesneraids Journal and it was a must have :))
Ok I spent way to much money but I did buy some of these :)
I am going to start a couple of terraiums with them :)
The little ones are so cute. I can't wait to see them all in your terraiums !
How about Clown Prince -- Striking, bright rose flowers have dark rose spots upon the face. Dwarf growing, gray-green foliage
Sounds so cute and pretty ! Did you order this one ?
I did..I ordered some from lyndon s and I ordered some from Pat's pets.
I have 2 cute little 3 gallon terrariums which I bought off of ebay. I plan on putting these in one of those. I think the other one I am going to put episcia in :)
My episcia grow so fast so big. If I let them I'd have a jungle :))
