I have some Amaryllis Belladonna/ Naked Lady that have never bloomed in the 2 yrs I have had them. I have recently discovered it is b/c my flower bed was too wet for them. I have now potted them up and am going to keep them on the porch away from my hose- LOL!
Today I discovered that Amarcrinum does much better in the South than the NL. Anyone have one bulb of Amar to trade for one of mine? Edited to add: would also LOVE to trade for the milk and wine crinum.
THANKS!

Wanna trade?
Hello? LOL!
If no one offers you your Crinums, perhaps you would be willing to trade for something else? What else are you looking for?
Would you have another location to try your Naked Ladies? I have a single bulb & it blooms right as the temperatures drop to freezing. Perhaps you could try it in another location - it is a neat bulb & the very last flower I see in my garden before the season is over. It is like the last hurrah of the garden, before it goes to sleep for the year!
Julie
Julie,
I really have my heart set on the crinums. I have wanted them for a long time but I can't pay the $$$ that most Co's charge for just one bulb.
I think I have a better spot for them but am gonna wait 'til Fall to transplant them. Potted them up just to see if they would bloom since they'll be getting no water- LOL!
Thanks for the advice though!
Does eFlowergarden have them?
I just saw an offer on eBay for the Milk & Wine - $38!
This place has other Crinums, & the prices looked more reasonable...

They do have many varieties, but perhaps not the one you were searching for...
They are so beautiful - they would make a nice addition to a garden!
I have some amaryillis bulbs if you want some of them. I have red with white stripes down the throat and some that are light orangy colored with white in them. I can email you a picture but dont know how to post these pictures on daves. I also have some that are pink with white. If you want to trade fine or if you want to pay the postage that is ok too. I recently bought some princess Di but they just went into the ground. they all multiply like crazy here in fla or at my house at least. I can put you a bunch in one of the flat rate boxes if you want. Since they are blooming now doubt they will bloom again this yr. If you send me an email at maryrobers10@msn.com I will have my husband take some pictures and send to you. Fran
Oh I forgot I do have the crinums also. white . Fran They are very big bulbs.
sendone,
I thank you so very much for your very kind offer, but I already have the ones you mentioned.
