I have a very pretty swallow tail that is fluttering around my yard and saw the black one with blue on it (not sure of name) on my Lavender lanatana I just planted.
Jan.. you live in the "tropics" in relation to my part of the "artic" Florida... LOL
Gardening in GA.. sounds like a eastern black swallowtail.. or it could be a pipevine swallowtail.
