Hi Rachel. I have some variegated babie..None of them are bloom sized at the moment.
One variegated I have off the top of my head is optimara traditions. The variegated optimaras are quite unusual..I think they only have 7 which are variegated :)
I also have MANY other variegated varieties if you are looking for leaves :)

Oh it was just an idea for a gift. Carl is a manly man. young, handsome, intelligant, into running, great with hard work...........in his home he nurtures african violets, cats and play the saxaphone. he has done a lot of hard labor for me over the years. I would like to get him something. hence the african violet search. Rachel

I am looking for something odd to give him....varigated? odd blooms? He does not know about this so there is no hurry on the gift.

Most of the Hybidrizers and Vendors of African violets are Men ! More men grow them than girls :))

Wonder why men choose avs? I may have to try growing one once it gets too cold to garden outside. Is linearis an av?

Rachel
