Best Ornamental Okra

Monroe, NC(Zone 7b)

I can't do veggie gardening any more. No space. But I would like to mix some okra into the flower border. What do you folks find to be the best ornamental forms. All okra bloom beautifully, but I would think a variety with short internodes, more compact total size, abundant bloom, any color foliage. What are your recommendations? And where to get them? Thanks!

Both are also an edible garnish...

Thanks for the thought on that one, Robin. But it sounds a little gangly, gets mixed reviews. I am looking at some white types, like Emerald, and the Silver Queen. And in the dwarfs, Park Seed has a 2' plant with burgundy coloration and mixed color flowers, called Little Lucy. I am about sold on that one. Check out the picture in their catalog on line:

Have a happy garden day!
