This bird has been at my house for about six weeks. So pretty! I've been to all the birding web-sites and I can't find him. Any ideas?

The photo is a little dark for my poor eyes, but the dark chest patch, spots and red cheek make me think it's a male Northern Flicker, or a Flicker of some kind.

Yep, northern flicker, a kind of woodpecker. They nest in hollowed out holes in trees and eat insects from your grass! Put some suet out for him quick!
