I can't get over it! such a beauty. I looked at mine last night and the bud is still tight and all white, no sign of any lavender color at all.
You must have the only sport in the bunch!

Lilburn, GA

To me, these flowers are more beautiful and delicate than most chimeras. They are stunning!

Did Libbie get back to you?

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

WOWwowWOW!!! I imagine the white blooming original form is gorgeous too... but this one is truly a treat!

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

If I can grow it out stable 3 generations I can ! I all ready have first generations suckers. Mom plant does not count. Then I need two more generation. .
I can also reserve a name for two years for a $1.00. Which I may do ! And when you registered it you get the $1.00 back. It does not have to be registered to be in FC.

Fancy Lady - - An excellent bloomer, with soft pink, single and semidouble pansies. Each petal has a light blue center stripe, with darker blue fantasy specks dancing on each flower. A pretty bouquet stands above heavily variegated, dark green foliage, with tons of beige on the leaf edge, and light green mixed in with it! The standard foliage is lightly quilted. AVSA Reg. #9524
It's in FC but last time I up-dated my FC went nuts. It even down laoded few things look like some foreign lforeign language . and when I go on it shuts FC down. I need to take the time and email Joe Burns.

2z Beautiful ! Did you grow it by leaf ? Good to see you been missing you. Where have you been ?

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

Right now my Crystal Dawn, Christmas Morning, Cynthia, and Danile Streps are blooming and growing new leaves ! Their doing real well in 5 inch pan pots but the more they grow I look at them and think soon they may go into hanging baskets :))
Streptocarpus are wonderful bloomers !

Those would be really pretty in hanging baskets. Is that picture of Christmas Morning? Love the red!
Sharon

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

Yes this one is Christmas morning ! This morning it has three flowers opened !

(Zone 7b)

Beautiful, Allison! Love that red.

I've just been lurking, not posting. But I've been here.

I got that one and a few others from ebay, got carrried away drooling over pictures, eh? They were from exoticviolets and came as tiny babies in 2" pots, and are doing very well, a few others have buds too.

I'm curious, never would have thought of putting Streps into hanging baskets, but the leaves on a couple of my babies are getting humungous - "Bristol Bluebird" and "Crystal Ice" - have you tried that before, and do they like it?

Edited to answer your question.

WOW Lali Wonders ! And they grew together from the one Mom leaf. The leaf I bought for $4.95 from Bluebirds was tiny when I got it. My leaves are growing learg on my plant and some wvae to them also.
When my last flowers opened I saw green and I was WOW it was hard to capture but they still had purple stripes.
Your flowers is so cute and pretty. I love my plant !
Thanks for sharing your Sport of ;

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

Oh Lali I fount the Chimera plant I was telling you about it when you were here. It blooms pinwheel strips by leaf. There is a beautiful picture of large plant in the 1984 GSN magazine. I am going to try to take a picture to show you. Not all flowers are the same. I'd love to have some of " Doris Bearman's " Plants. They are Dib's.
This plants name is Dib's Blue Ridge. This pinwheel propagtes from a leaf, unlike other pinwheels. It gives her name and address and many other colorful pictures of more of her plants. A story about her and lots of black and white pictures too. Picture of Doris holding this hugh plant in bloom checking it out for re-potting ! Black and white pic ( Wish it was colored) " Show Window with Deb's Blue Ridge a pinwheel, shown behind the watering cam ! "
Maybe I shall send this magazine to you !

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

Oh yes this is from 1984 and she says she fell in Love with African violets 43 years ago when she recieved her first nameless AV velvety :))
Her whole home is full of Av's every window every room and lighted stands. The story tells sweetly about her front bedroom, seedling room, back dinning room and more :))
I think you will enjoy it :))
Mater of fact I have the whole year in perfect collectiable condition :)) They are a collectibles ! I will send to you.

Northern California, CA(Zone 9a)
