Spider's Goodies

Anna, I pulled Woodland Sprite (I know I called it 'Pixie' in our email but that's because I'm clueless!) out of the perlite tray to pot em up and couldn't believe the growth.

I think I put these down on Feb. 23. Just look at the babies you're getting! I thought they were just 'rooted' didn't know they had gone mad too!

funny thing is I put down 6 leaves and this one has the most growth. They all had various levels of growth.

And here's one, put down the same day, but look at the difference. It also has babies popping up off of the petiole? Weird.

sorry for the poor quality of the photo

That's a bunch of babies on the first one. Surprising how different they are.

Lali love your babies ! Well you know how different even the same babies grow by same mom leaf and side by side can be so different. Growing off the petiole is pretty normal it you notice even at the end of the petiole where they are growing. A tiny slit they will grow any where. I have had large babies grow right on top of the Mom leaves no root. I treat them as suckers. Thats one reason Av's don't need rooting hormone. It promotes roots and we want to grow babies ! I wish I could find link to this and picture of Mom leaf no roots and large baby growing on the petiole :)) Exciting and interesting :)) Thanks for sharing !
