A very pretty hybrid tea rose.

Oh kell, I forgot I have this rose! Beautiful. however, I must say it is the only one that I have to spray for blackspot. Not a big problem though. I have it planted growing up an oak tree, right next to LadyBanks white. I look forward to them intermixing in the next few years.

Is that a current bloom? simply exquisite.

Hi Vossner!!! It is a Home Depot bloom, yes current.

Kell! Vossner! You two still out there? I got two roughed up roses from KMart that said they were First Prize, but I thought that was an icy-pale pink rose?

Yours is pretty dark pink. So is mine. Tell me, if you're still out there...would you describe FP as a deep cerise bud, very bronzy red leaves? Big buds, big leaves? And so, what. Does it get paler as it ages?

One of you said yours was going up a tree?!? Is there a climber version out there? Or what?

I can't really remember what a bud looks like in person. My plant is planted back in my jungle and I only see the blooms from a distance. The blooms are huge though and look just like this pic.

And yes, there is a climbing form of it.

thnx. sounds like I just had it confused with something else. Very pretty rose. I seem to have a genius for picking disease-prone ones, tho.--M
