Lemon Grass

I just cooked a box rice product by "Asia Specialties" called Lemon grass & Ginger with genuine Thai Hom Rice (what ever that is) , this is so good! I will make it again ... which brings me to this question ...
Have you ever used Lemon Grass in your cooking? How do you grow it? How do you use it in cooking? This rice dish has such an amazing 'lemon' flavor that I would like to know more about using Lemon grass in cooking. Will lemon grass grow in Z4/5? Any one know? Thanks, Jill
