I got Rhapsodie Stephanie

Dallas, TX(Zone 8a)

I went to HD tonight and look what I found. I found Rhapsodie Stephanie. And I just love the color. It is not purple, it is not really blue either. It is just a beautiful color. I just could not resist it.

I swear my HD, Lowes and everything else must just be at the bottom of the list when it comes to AVs! I looked the other day and again nothing that is identifiable or noteworthy, all plain jane sort of stuff and nothing identified. You are sooo lucky. Very pretty.

Very pretty, Jesse!
April, it seems like we are all able to find what others want. I can find real beauties at my Walmart and Lowe's, but never any that are even close to blue, which is what I want the most. Everyone posts their pretty blue-toned AVs that they found at the local big box store, and I just drool over them. Guess we'll all just have to keep trading to get what we want! LOL

April, look at the lovely blue (on the right in the picture) that pdoyle found in this thread. http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/585681/ It may not be as blue as it looks to me, but I'd bet it's more blue than any I've found. :o)

APril you can always speak with the garden center manager and ask that they bring them in. They can special order for you!

Missouri City, TX(Zone 9a)

Wow RG that is blue! I love it and agree if it isn't exact it's got to be bluer than most! WOW!

Laurie, you are making me laugh...hahaha...the folks at the garden centers near me do not even water their plants. In fact they make me so mad that I have often thought of going to the store and demanding that they hire me to manage the garden center...shade plants in full summer Houston sun, full sun plants put in the shade and over watered- now that's a job I can definately do!- also new shipments sitting in boxes in the hot sun all day because they don't feel like unpacking them and they don't feel like moving them to the shade...and stocking up on cool season plants in the spring, wrong thing to do in our area, or warm season plants in cool season as if we were the mid west! ugh!! After I take a few tranqs and smoke a bit more crack then maybe I will speak w/ the manager! LOL

I will be glad to go to Walmart or HD at any time to pick up any of these that I have found. Just let me know what you want. And if I can't find them, I will set down leaves for you.
