The lady I get the plantlets from just grows them for herself.I got to talking with her about AV's one day I was buying veggies and she told me she had plantlets and bought some the next week.Bad news is she only had a few plants White dove,B man and L" Heure Blue.

heh you new growers just let you know over watering is the number one killer of African violets.
Oh that's Ok Jan you don't really have to grow me one. I had a whole bunch of them gave them all away. I have no room to keep them all. So I can see them smiling at me when you take their pictures ! I swear your Rob's antique rose looks like it's smiling at me :))

Jan I did send you babies I grew by leaf I just gave them all away. I still have a big Ultra violet Dusk blooming. Yours's is gorgous ! I just love this plant !

yes you are right, you did send a plant and when I typed earlier I typed plant and then went and changed it because I was thinking leaves. And yes, I'm much better about the water issue.

pretty plants as always! i love the 'Rob's Antique Rose' ! okay confession time for me i pulled up one of the leaves (for the first time) yesterday that you sent me and it had some small roots beginning. i only pulled up one so i am not sure about the others. Yeah!!!!!!

I just finished arranging for a place for the boxfull of goodies I will be receiving from Allison. From the pictures I have seen they will be pretty good sized plants so I have cleaned off the corner cabinet that I turned into a two shelf plant stand. It's all wiped down with Lysol and waiting for delivery.
Well Nanna how's your Weather. I use the thick insulation but just don't trust heat packs .
It's not going over low 60's here today or tomorrow and going to be low 40's . So I figure must be cold where you are ?
We were lucky with Laruei's as I thought it was warm and it snowed there and I sent her 4 large Priority boxes thank goodness thy were OK> And the mail is not dependable. I shipped boxes to Florida couple hours away all Priority mail took 6 days.
