Any suggestions for summer hardy geraniums in a semi shade?
Summer geraniums
I usually buy globe geraniums (I think that's what they're called). I put them in the wonderful dark blue ceramic pots with sweet alyssum and they look great. Because it's so hot in the summer I put them about 12 feet from a large redbud tree, so they get light shade most of the day and they bloom very well.

I've got a couple of hardy geraniums (cranesbills), but I don't know their names. One of them came from my mom's garden & the other I acquired in a trade. The one from my mom's garden looks similiar to Geranium wallichianum 'Buxtons Blue'.
