Well worth the LONG wait! Wrangler's Green Pastures

Northern California, CA(Zone 9a)

First bloom for this beauty!

I ordered this sweetie from Bluebird's back in December. It has finally started to pop open and I'm drooling over the green frilled edges. It came with this bud, and it has taken this long to open. Can you believe it! Slow but worth the wait!

Laurie you must of missed my posting when I called myself the new queen of Sports. lol No one responded to my thread :(( But my Irish Paradise sported :((
And I had the Mom plant . I could just scream and cry as this plant is so hard to find and the Mom cost a lot and she bloomed true many times. My Sport looks like a leaf I have never seen before. lol

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

Oh I can't find it but mine Sported :(( It's sorta peach/yellow pale with faint stripes. lol

Northern California, CA(Zone 9a)

So does that mean the one I have is a sport too? Can you get another from your original source?

Any you want me to look for when I go to the sale and show next weekend?

Northern California, CA(Zone 9a)

Northern California, CA(Zone 9a)

nope, but when it does, I'm quite sure you will all hear the thud as I faint.

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

Really Laurie your's is opening different than mine. I bought mine on Ebay couple years ago . It was pretty exspensive then and this was my last leaf and last two babies. Supose to be double pink green edge. Maybe your's will have green too funny they grew up in the same pot same Mom but this happens all the time. Did your Russian bloom open yet ?

Northern California, CA(Zone 9a)

No, and I was staring at it today. I asked it if it was going to be a sport, and it just sat there. It's keeping it's secret for now.

I'll get a shot of Irish Paradise here in just a minute. Hang on I want you to see it.

Lilburn, GA

Begonia, that is BEAUTIFUL!!!

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

Oh I saw the Mom plant bloom many times. It was blooming when I bought it. I know how breath taking it is what ever happen to mine . I'm the new Queen of Sprots. Hek most of Ma's plants are Sports why not grow mine out and name them too. lol Lot's of Rob's are Sports too. lol
And they say one in every hundred leaves you put down will sport.
