I'm wondering if any of you know how to make sugar free meringue cookies so they come out good? I tried a recipe that called for non fat dry milk, but they were awful and not even crispy.
I love the meringue cookies from Trader Joes & have become hooked on them, but don't want all that sugar. I decided to try to make my own, but am having trouble finding any recipes. I really like the artificial sweetner called "Stevia", but I don't think you could use that to make meringue. I think I am going to have to use Splenda, but would rather not. Also, if I want to flavor them with coffee, should I just use instant coffee? Any ideas here? Thanks
