short day popcorn

Hi all,
I'm here in southern Belize, and trying to locate a short day, open polinated popcorn. Our longest days here are about 13 hours.

I've never heard of short day popcorn. Pardon my ignorance but what is it if you don't mine my asking. Do you have any photographs? I'd love to know what this plant is. Does it flower white like popped pop corn? I'm very curious.

I've never been to Belize. They say it is a beautiful Country. I understand you have some exquisite nature preserves and awesome archaeological sites. Do you have any photos you can share?
