ID please of Lily (maybe)

So. Puget Sound, WA(Zone 8b)

This was here when I moved in last year and never bloomed. It's tucked behind a tall cypress and gets virtually no sun. I would like to move it but I don't want to kill it.

This looks like it could be either a crinum or a "naked lady" to me. I regularly move my bulbs this time of yr with no problems. Is this a recent pic of it? I would move it to someplace with more sun. You could always grow it in a pot 'til you see what it is for sure. This would enable you to move the pot around to see where it thrives best. Then you would know where to give it a permanent home.

Thank you berrygirl, I didn't think of putting it in a pot! Duh! Yes, the photo was taken this morning. I have to go look up crinums and naked ladies.

Katy,
I am not sure that is what you have. Maybe someone else can give you a positive ID. But regardless of what it is, you can still pot it up temporarily.

Of course when it blooms we'll all know for sure- LOL!

If it were a crinum, shouldn't you see the top of the bulb above ground?

Lakemont, GA(Zone 8a)

Not if it's planted too deeply- like some of my bulbs are- LOL!

Like I said earlier, it "looks" like either a crinum or a NL to me. But what do I know? hee hee.

Katy,
You might want to post this also on the ID forum. There are some very smart folks over there!

I'm not sure that's a naked lady. They are indestructible and bloom in the shade.
