I saw an african violet named 'October Rose' last night and was thinking about trying to find a.v.'s with each of my children's birth months in the name. i am not sure how many have months in their names or where to find them. I am looking for months Jan., May and October then mine and my husbands August and Feb. I wish i could find some with our names in title but that is probably impossible lol. My husbands name is Brian and I did see one called 'Baby Brian' last night. Just a thought. Have any of you got a.v.'s with your name or birth months?

I have some Aly's , am going to get a plant names Alison's Laughing from Lyon's . I've had a few Alice in Wonderland Av's gave them away. I have Epscia Alice. My family call's it Grandma Alice as that was my Mom's name !
I was thinking about getting October Rose my youngest only daughter was born in October !
In FC you can put the names in like May and all the plants with May in it will come up !

I bought Mac's Just Jeff from bluebirds (Dh's name) and see that Chimera from violets and such called 'Kara's Birthday Surprise' or something (that's my DD's name) and Casey is my son.
(middle names coudl work too, Kara's middle names are Nedaye Kathleen and Casey's are Austin Randall. Doubt you will find Nedaye since that is a family name made up by my great grandmother for my grandmother. (grandma's name was Ned Alwyn Eppes so they made an acronym out of it for their only daughter)
