Bulbs blooming at my house today

Vancouver, WA(Zone 7a)

Here are some pictures of bulbs that are blooming at my house in Vancouver, WA today. The first one is daffodil "Ice Follies"

Next is daffodil "Suzy". I love this one because it has multiple blooms per stalk and a strong, sweet scent.

This a combo I bought of early red tulips and white crocus.

those are so nice flowerfrenzy, i especially like rip van winkle and the light blue muscari.

Thanks, vossner. The light blue Muscari is "Valerie Finnis"...I think. I didn't want to list the name in case I was wrong. The tags were mixed up when I bought them.

I bought "Rip van Winkle" at my local gardening center. I'm going to order a bunch more through Brent and Becky's Bulbs this Fall! It's probably my favorite daffodil so far. I don't think you can tell from the picture, but there's quite a bit of green striping on the back of the blooms.

Not too much going on here but ......here's an unknown daff that I just love !!

and another....I tagged almost everything but the sun (?) or other elements erased names....but they are still pretty even without names :))

Just beautiful, flowerfrenzy and jlmmkm !
Love that 'Rip Van Winkle'.

Thanks for sharing.

And yes, 'Valerie Finnis' is what that Muscari is. So pretty and anice change from the regular grapey purple ones.

Robert.

Nice pictures. Thanks for sharing! I believe your second daffodil is "Ice Follies", jlmmkm.

Thanks for the i.d. on "Valerie Finnis", raydio. I figured that must be it because they're aren't many (if any) others with that coloration. It does make a nice change of pace.

I love your rip van winkles. They are so full compared to mine which look anemic. I wonder if there are different strains available in the trade or if I'm doing something wrong with mine?....

Also love your Suzy daffs and your Barrett Brownings. I must be liking the orange ones this year! Must get some.

I understand Brent and Becky's 2006 Catalog is already on line so I am already looking for daffs to plant for bloom with the ones I've got already.

I agree, flowerfrenzy - great Rip van Winkels - and great Iris Reticulatas too! I have Dutch Iris and German Iris but have never grown those.

tabasco~

Brent and Becky's have Barrett Browning and Rip Van Winkle. I don't know if they have Suzy or not, but Van Engelen and John Scheeper's have her.

Brent and Becky's are selling 10 Rip van Winkle bulbs for only $4. I bought 50 of them for $17. I just love that one. Can't have too much of it!

Steve~

I love Iris Reticulatas. I'm ordering a bunch this year. I can't do crocus because they all get eaten by squirrels. I. Reticulata comes up at the same time as the crocus do, or just shortly after, and the squirrels leave them alone completely.
