I just received this email from David Liddle.
Awanda
the power has just been restored so I could tell you we are alright. Although the cyclone crossed the coast as a Catagory 5, 320 km/h winds, it was a catagory 4 when it hit us with winds of 220 km. We have a lot of vegitation damage but no structural damage.
Thank you for your thoughts
David

This is good news. Have been thinking about David & Iris alot today!
Great news... My husband watches CNN alllllllllll day long. Picked up a little news on the cyclone, but wondered about them all day. Fantastic news, prayers and good wishes have been answered. what is 220 km in Miles? I really need to learn how to convert kilo into miles or is it the other way around.
Tami
Tami,
To convert kilometers into miles, multiply by 0.621.
So 220 km x 0.621 = 136.62 mi.
Wow, what a huge sigh of relief! I am so glad they are okay!
Heather
Good news...thanks for sharing.
