IF it will survive here?!?

Oh, isn't that a purty one! Sure if I ever see it. Got bit by the daylily bug eh, Pam. Knew it would get you soon. It only gets worse from here.

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3b)

LOL already had it but was on low simmer.....that one however brought it up to full boil. ;)

You want me to send you a few more links? I think I forgot one.

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3b)

Yes please! :)

Oh ho, this is going to be bad.

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3b)

uh oh does that mean I'm gunna have to give up tropicals to afford these new beauties???

Or get an extra job. I sent you three more.

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3b)

*sigh*.................putting out applications tomorrow.

Kalispell, MT(Zone 4b)

Pam did you see the hydrogen bomb shape on the beard. It is in white and upside down. I would call this one Hiroshima.

St. Peter's, PE(Zone 6a)

That is a gorgeous Daylily. I am just starting my daylily addiction. Not too many varieties yet but not far from me is a huge daylily farm so I will be checking it out this spring.

Michelle

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3b)

I see butterflies or long tailed birds there Sofer.

Michelle please let me know if they have it.
Thanks Pam.

St. Peter's, PE(Zone 6a)

Pam,
No problem! I will let you know if I find it.

I have no idea which is right and which is wrong at this point. I did a google to see if anyone sold this one in Canada and happened across this. Further investigation underway.

Michelle, nice to see someone else here with this addiction. Now we can form a support group.

Huh?

now there's one like yours(or what you wish was yours)

http://www.thebloomingauction.com/detail.asp?id=3134
another one like yours, from 2005? Makes me think I' be real cautious where I bought this one, and at those prices, I'd be waiting a few years, but hey if you get that extra job real soon.......

Check out the description on this one. Don't you love when they do that.

Hi Canadian Daylily fans,
Are you familiar with Charlotte's Daylily Website? It's photo collection of a private garden near Sherbrooke, Que. I've spent many winter hours enjoying her pics - like her site organization, too.

I've always had a special spot in my heart forhte european lilies, but the more I see of these daylilies, there more convinced I am about finding a space or 2-3 in the yard for them.

http://www.ofts.com/photo/francois_verhaert.html is what I'm terrified of getting! :S

Welcome home Inanada we sure missed you! :)

It would be soooooo, soooooooo, nice to be able to go the the fields, like Michelle, and pick them out when you can *see* the bloom.

Thank you for a *safe* site Jacqui. :)

Pam
(who is going to have to scan the daylily sites very carefully ;). My method is usually to tick off 20 plants (in pencil) and then, ever, ever, so slowly get it down to less than 5......and with those prices it'll have to be down to one or two!

Quoting:
28: There is no reason for guys to watch Ice Skating or Men's Gymnastics. Ever.
See pam I'm not alone in my thinking.
You need to do what I do Pam when you are buying things you don't need. I always ask myself "How many anal glands do I have to express to pay for this?" That usually gets me moving on and away.

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3b)

euwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!! Yep that would certainly *do* it for me too. :S

Victoria, BC(Zone 8b)

ROTFLMBO! There's not many other things that I would do on my list, only if my life depended on it. You can have your job Sofer, I'll keep mine!

(Zone 7b)

Soferdig, you have a way with words, that's for sure. There I was, innocently dreaming of DL, when all at once, I found myself with a mental picture I really could have done without...

And to think I only have to consider if I've got room or not - why have I ever complained??:)

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3b)

LOLOLOL ;)

Kalispell, MT(Zone 4b)

See you guys and gals can go through life ignoring those things but I have to put my eyeball down there and do the duty. How bout those Mapleleaves? Or is it Mapleleafs
Ehhh?

(Zone 7b)

You do it with your eyeball???

Grand Forks, BC(Zone 5b)

Hey, only one H in eh...ya gotta get it right, eh! Ü

Don

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3b)

LOL :)

Sofer won't know 'bout my Maple Leafs ;) till spring but I imagine my Crimson King will have suffered severe die back this winter.
