Well shoot. I thought San Diego was supposed to be the absolute best place to live....bet your brugs aren't saying that. LOL! You are right tho...they do grow new leaves quickly. The worst problem with hail is when it damages the trunk. The trunk then appears speckled. That happened here just a few years ago. The spots get lighter in color and I'm hoping that they will eventually be invisible. Who do you have blooming there? I can't wait to see blooms again this year.

Well better hail than the same holey look from snails, Steph. The snails are killing me this year.

When did you get hit with it? I usually get it in April when my apricot tree is blooming. I missed the hail 2 weeks ago. I think Annapet got it though.

We have had some freaky weather here haven't we Steph! That storm last weekend was the pits. We got the hail here, when that storm coming in from the north collided with warmer air from the south. It's been 5-6 years since I'd seen hail.

Hey Shirley, it still is the absolute best place to live .... as long as you don't count the cost of living into the equation. Gas is around $2.60 as I speak. A glorified shack costs around $500,000.

yeah it was the pits all right. My roses were looking so perfect to. It so funny because all my succulents look like they have specks all over from the hail too.

Your right around the corner from me . Im in Rancho Pq.

I'm sure it is expensive. I'd keep the half million and stay here buying new plants every year. But....look at 99% of the weather there. Sure would beat snow, ice, and cold winds for months on end. I do have to say that we have had a pretty good winter this year tho. Snow is coming tomorrow but it won't last. Bet it smells great out by your holey brug, Steph. LOL! I'm glad it will recover and be more beautiful later on.
