I Can Not Find Any Information on What the Lowest Temps a Brug Cutting Can Handle While Rooting in Water.
We are Needing to Move Our Rooted Brug Cuttings that Some of You Gave Me for My Students to Grow-Out into Our Unheated Greenhouse. They Have Been Rooting in a Heated Closet(No Light).
The Nightime Low Temps Outside Have Been Ranging Around 32ºF - 40ºF at Night so...
The Temps in the Greenhouse Should Stay and Get No Lower than 40ºF-45ºF(Maybe a Little Higher) at Night.
Will This Be OK for the Brugs in Glass Quart Jars of Water to Survive Without Heating the Greenhouse?
Most Have Good Roots Now...But...Some are Beginning to Drop Their White Leaves...Because I'm Sure They Need More Light Now.
And...Could We Just Go Ahead and Pot Them Up without too Much Loss in the Greenhouse?
"Thanks"...Again for Any Advise I Can Get from Anyone.
Temps for Brug Cuttings in Water Jars
I have no clue about GH temps and cuttings. But if they have good roots I would pot them up if yo have the room. Lots of people pot them up as soon as they get those nubbies. I wish I could be of more help.
Once growing in dirt, I have mine outside all winter and it is usually in the 30s and 40s. at night.
GOOD LUCK with them all!
Yes... I would definately pot them :)
OK...Potting Them Up Will be Easier.
We Will Pot Them Up Tomorrow.
"Thanks"...Kell and Charlotteda!
