I found the first sign of spring in my garden this morning. Watching for more signs.
Look what I found this morning
Hooray! It's always a great thing to see the first of the season crocus
They are lovely......it's always such a wonderful feeling to see those beauties poking through the dirt.
Oh they are gorgeous and I am so envious.....Enjoy!!!
Annetta,
They look so cute! Glad to see that Spring is moving East!
Michelle
They look so cheerful and sunny Annetta. I can hardly wait until mine start to bloom. No buds as of yet though. --Ginny
Wow Annetta! I'm in Pickering too, and I haven't seen any flowers anywhere! Must be from the rain we had last week-I'll bet those flowers were just "testing the waters", and have ducked down beneath the surface of the dirt again!! lol. Seriously, very cool find, and a lovely shade of yellow. Are these in your garden?
Christine
Yes Christine they are in my front garden. I think the stone that they are growing beside must be retaining heat from the sun. I checked on them this afternoon and they are still there straight and tall but not open yet.
Annetta
Annetta, thanks for showing us your first blossoms. The first are always sooo special. Here's to many more.
What a gorgeous, vibrant colour! They look wonderful Don. --Ginny
Don,
Love the color! Keep the pics coming it brightens the day for me on the East Coast.
Michelle
Don, those are lovely. Now ya got me really looonging for more. Only in my garden. Soon.
Don, They are so colourful. It sure is nice to see the first colours of spring......
Here's to many more.
Annetta

Joan
Ohhhhhh, very nice Annetta. I'm getting crocus envy here :-) Mine are up but no blooms yet.
--Ginny
re : envy, me too........only mine are still waaaaaaaaaaaaaay underground. ;)
Oh, Annetta, they look so bright and cheerful. Will be a bit longer for mine, under the piles of snow. How I am longing.
Very pretty Annetta, I've got lots of things starting to come up outside, but I'm still a long way away from flowers....sigh....
But I have flowers inside starting in February, so I'm not too sad.
However, I believe that there's just something far more special about seeing flowers outside - the "frozen tundra" thing, and it not being possible for so long each year.
Christine
Beautiful, Annette! Mine are still covered in snow, rain and fog.
:) Donna
