Macrophylla, loyceandrewsiana, polystachya and latifolia

Bromma, Sweden

Hi!

Does anyone know for sure what is what regarding macrophylla, loyceandrewsiana, polystachya and latifolia?

I have two of these, macrophylla and loyceandrewsiana (I believe), but I'd like to know for sure. See attached photo. If anyone could help me ID them I'd be very grateful.

Are any of these 4 the same? In that case, what name should be used?

Fia,

I don't have any of these hoya's, so no information here. My H. glabra leaves closely resemble your H. macrophylla. Where did you get your cuttings? Hope some one can help you out..

Fia...it is so hard to tell from photos! I do know that the hoyas known as H. loyceandrewsiana/H. diversifolia B/H. aff. latifolia IML 88 has been determined by David Liddle to be ....ta DAH...H. latifolia. There are 2 or 3 I have gotten from David named H. aff latifolia, and I know the name latifolia has been thrown around quite a bit. The leaf on the right looks like it could be H. latifolia...leaves can be so different in different environments... HTH

And then again you can never be sure that the hoya you have had the correct name when you bought it... Someone perhaps thought it was H. X and sold it as that... and so on!
