Fate, TX(Zone 8a)

zarcanat, we are supposed to trade a little later but i saw these seeds and wanted the dwarf poinciana and the scarlet monkey flower if they are still available. have you had any luck with the poinciana? what would you like for trade? and what is an international reply coupon? thanks. barbara

Montreal, QC(Zone 4b)

Dwarf poincinia are left overs from this spring trade, they are 100% germinating for me, just have to nick the seeds and soak them overnight in warm water and that should do the trick. And yes both are still available. An international reply coupon will pay for sending back an enveloppe to the sender, it replaces stamps when you are shipping in an another country. My wish list is quite long, maybe a little difficult to fulfill but if you have anything interesting that attracts hummingbirds... http://davesgarden.com/trading/tl/zarcanat/viewbystatus/37348.html

I've had great luck with the Poinciana here, too! They are absolutely lovely, even when not in bloom! The foliage is very delicate and cheerful.
