Another Texas hibiscus with no ID

Found this one in Texas too with no tag. It looked alot better blooming down there instead of my house--the bloom is red shredded with white in it--these arent the best blooms or pics of it but I still like it cause its different

Susan, No thats the nursery me and my husband went to the next day -- it was the one along the frontage road by Edinburg.

I think I know where that one is. I've just got to figure out which exit to take to get to it! It's the one right in the road construction zone? right on the expressway?

That's a very old variety called Baptistii or Hawaiian Flag. It's a miniature double with origins in Cuba and there're references about it since the begining of last century.
It the plant receives more sun the strips will get more white.

Carlos Thanks for the info -- sounds like a got a goodie--and the price was right only 4.50--cant wait to get her outside to she her really bloom.
