CLOSED: wanted: sweet woodruf, any kind of geranium or pelargonium,

Clanton, AL(Zone 7b)

I want I want I want! lol. I would love any kind of geranium or pelargonium except the cranesbill. Already have that. Would love some sweet woodruff even though it is supposed to be invasive, some vinca minor or some other low creeping interesting ground cover to grow between my stepping stones and keep the weeds out. Would also like some bouncing Bet or soapwort. Right now I have widows tears, common daylilies and a pretty pink canna to trade. Of course would be more than willing to pay postage if nothing interests you. Thanks.

Seymour, IN(Zone 5b)

I can send some sweet woodruff and creeping thyme. Also have creeping charlie and Orchid frost lamium ground covers. What is Widows tears? I'm not familiar with it.Lou

Clanton, AL(Zone 7b)

Hi Lou. Yes, I would love all that. lol. Widow's tears is a grasslike perennial that has blue flowers during the summer. It spreads pretty quickly. I planted several last year and this year have probably double what I did last year. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

Seymour, IN(Zone 5b)

Is it(widow's tears) a ground cover? If so, I would rather have daylilies. I will have to wait a couple of weeks for things to get a little further up , as it is just starting to be spring like. I will send as soon as possible, however. It would be best to get them all started and settled in, before it gets too hot. Lou

Clanton, AL(Zone 7b)

Yes, I guess you would call it a ground cover, but it is about 9 to 12 inches high and grows in clumps. If you would rather have daylilies, that'll be fine. They are just the commmon type, but I love them. Also have cannas. I believe they're pink, but will have to make sure of that. I'm blind and can't remember for sure what I was told about their color. Just say the word and I'll dig some of either or both of 'em up. It's pretty warm here and they're coming up already.

Seymour, IN(Zone 5b)

Okay, I'll let you know when it warms up enough here. I'll try a little clump of widow tears and some daylilies or a canna. Thanks, Lou

Clanton, AL(Zone 7b)
