Hi Im new & looking to meet traders ...

hi everyone,Im from pgh pa & a new member,on he recommendation of a friend who says its the best $15 I will ever spend!!!I am a total plant junkie & looking to meet people to do plant trades with,so far this site is great..so much great info...I have thousands of perennials & love to aquire new & different ones including tropicals,which is turning out to be equally addictive-ask my son-he has the only sunny room in my house & its now full of brugs plumeria bouganvilla jasmine etc...Hope to learn exactly how trading is done here,as ive traded on the GW alot,& cant quite figure out how to post trade listings here-do i just start a new post or what-(thats what Ive tried so far_ lmk ..my trade list is very incomplete,but if i can just get a few more hrs in the day..maybe i can fill out a little at a time...nice to meet all of u & hope to know u all better by this time next year..jean

There's a great introduction on how to trade at this link: http://davesgarden.com/trading/primer . ... of course I'm so new myself I don't think I did that right to make it a link for you. But if you click on Trading, there's a link at the top that's called Trading Primer and tells you all the stuff you need to know. Have a bunch of fun! I know I am.

thanks to all-just figured out how to reply to all the posts i left..i use gw in the past,but heard this is better,never had a problem w a trade yet & love meeting others w the same addiction..we need a support group...no one understands what the craving for a certain plant is like...till theyve been there...thanks again all..

Hi! I'm from your neck of the woods in Fairmont WV. I'm pretty new to gardening and have never traded plants before, but hopefully I will be able to soon...assuming I don't kill everything off. I'm still amassing my own collection of perennials (mostly by catalog and local nursery)...so if there is anything you are going to throw out, let me know and I can swing by and pick it up! :)
